The Conseil des arts Prescott-Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC) and the Municipality of Casselman are inviting residents to experience local art in everyday spaces through new artworks for the Municipal Mini-Galleries.
The initiative, part of CAPRAC’s ongoing commitment to making art accessible throughout the region, features a rotating selection of works drawn from the organization’s Fall–Winter Gallery Collection. Visitors can view a curated selection of pieces at the CAPRAC office, located at 750 Principale Street, Room A-8, in Casselman.
The current display showcases works by Samantha Woj, Martin Cléroux, Gisele Paquette, Carole Lavigne, Noëlline Marineau, and Nancy Overbury. These six artists’ creations aim to represent the depth and diversity of the Prescott-Russell arts community.
“Drawn from our Fall-Winter Gallery Collection of more than 60 unique artworks, this selection celebrates the rich variety of themes, techniques, and styles within our regional arts community,” explained Margo Malboeuf, Executive Director at CAPRAC.
In addition to the Casselman site, visitors can explore other mini-gallery installations at the Nation Sports Complex (243 Limoges Road, Limoges) and the Township of Russell Town Hall (717 Notre Dame Street, Embrun).
Each location offers a unique glimpse into the creative energy that defines Prescott and Russell and brings art closer to residents and fostering a sense of pride in local culture.
