Three men dressed as construction workers attempted to break in to a Casselman business on Richer Circle. The suspects drove off in a damaged silver Dodge Caravan after failing to gain access to the building. OPP are asking the public for any information regarding the incident that took place on New Year's Eve.

OPP investigating Casselman break-in

The Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for information regarding a break-and-enter that occurred on New Year’s Eve at a business in Casselman.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31, six men dressed as construction workers attempted to break into a business on Richer Circle, but were unsuccessful and nothing was taken.

The OPP is asking for any information regarding the men, who are described as being between 5’9” and 5’11” (175 to 180 cm), medium to heavy build, and wearing high visibility jackets, white helmets, gloves, balaclavas and bandanas.

The men drove off in a silver Dodge Caravan with damage to a rear door. The license plate is unknown.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
