The Conseil des arts Prescott-Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC) has unveiled a new collection of artworks in its network of mini galleries, marking another step forward in its mission to showcase local talent across the region.
This season’s installation brings a notable expansion, a brand-new exhibition space at Hawkesbury Town Hall, 600 Higginson street, increasing the total number of mini galleries to four across Prescott and Russell. The program continues to grow in popularity, attracting strong community interest and positive feedback.
In response to this enthusiasm, the Municipality of Casselman has doubled CAPRAC’s gallery space, significantly increasing exhibition opportunities for regional artists.
The new winter collection, on display from December through February, features works from the following CAPRAC artist members: Samantha Woj, Carole Renaud, Caro Galand, Gisele Paquette, Nancy Overbury, Manon Doran, Noëlline Marineau, Valérie Major, Carole Lavigne, and Martin Cléroux.
With expanded locations and additional space, CAPRAC continues to strengthen its support for local creators while bringing accessible art experiences to communities throughout Prescott and Russell.
