The Valoris Foundation has launched its 34th annual Christmas Elves campaign, an initiative aimed at ensuring children and youth in need across Prescott and Russell receive gifts for the holiday season.
Last year, nearly 800 young people benefited from the program, and Valoris is once again calling on the community’s generosity to help make this year’s campaign a success.
This year, the Foundation is offering several ways for residents to participate.
Pick an Elf
Starting immediately, elves are available at Valoris service centres and participating businesses across the region. Each elf includes a wish list from a local child. Community members can choose an elf, purchase the requested items, and return the unwrapped gifts by Friday, December 5.
A full list of participating businesses can be found on the Valoris Foundation website, which includes nine places in Hawkesbury and L’Orignal, 12 in Casselman, nine in Embrun, 10 in Rockland, one in Limoges, one in Russell, one in Maxville, and two in St-Isidore.
Residents may also donate new items such as gift cards, games, toys, clothing, and books, or make monetary contributions directly at Valoris service centres, also before December 5.
Make an Online Donation
Supporters can make a financial contribution by visiting the Foundation’s online donation platform and selecting the 2025 Christmas Elves Campaign form.
Take Part in the Elf Challenge
Community members can also participate in the Valoris Foundation Elf Challenge happening on Saturday, November 29. Registration is available online.
With community involvement at the heart of the campaign, the Valoris Foundation hopes to once again brighten the holidays for hundreds of children and youth throughout Prescott and Russell.
