Public Consultation Session
NOTICE TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE UNDERSIGNED THAT :
- At the regular meeting held on January 13, 2026, the municipal council adopted the following draft by-law:
- First draft amendment by-law 2025-11-902 amending zoning by-law RU-902-01-2015 and its amendments in order to:
- Authorize the use of hobby farm as an additional use within the “Residential” use class in zone A-04;
- Allow the use of tourist residence within the C5 use class;
- Clarify when an integrated project is permitted;
- Clarify the standards applicable to containers;
- Add specific provisions for forest shelters;
- Include specific standards regarding the development and construction of docks.
- First draft amendment by-law 2025-11-902 amending zoning by-law RU-902-01-2015 and its amendments in order to:
- This draft by-law contains provisions that may be subject to approval by qualified voters.
- A public consultation meeting will be held on February 10, 2025, starting at 6:30 p.m., regarding this draft by-law, at Town Hall, located at 88, rue des Érables, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. During this public meeting, the draft by-law and the consequences of its adoption will be explained, and individuals and organizations wishing to express their views on the matter will be heard.
- This draft by-law affects all zones of the territory, except for the last two provisions, which affect zone A-04.
- A copy of this draft by-law may be consulted. Anyone may obtain information on this matter by visiting Town Hall, at the Clerk’s Office, during regular business hours.
