After 50 weeks of draws and with only two of the original 52 envelopes left, the Kin Club of Russell’s seventh edition of its Catch the Ace raffle has reached unprecedented heights, and excitement is running high across the region.
With a weekly prize exceeding $120,000 and a jackpot now surpassing $2.2 million, this edition has become the largest Catch the Ace lottery in Ontario. Players from across the province are taking part, hoping to be the one to finally uncover the elusive Ace of Spades.
Tickets for Catch the Ace 7 can be purchased online at www.kinclubofrussell.ca/catch-the-ace/ or from more than 70 participating retailers listed on the Kin Club of Russell’s website. As the lottery enters its 51st week, anticipation is building for what could be a life-changing draw.
Beyond the excitement and big prizes, the true impact of the Kin Club’s efforts can be seen in the local community. To date, the raffle has raised over $2.9 million for 26 local charities, including food banks, hospitals, hospices, cancer research organizations, youth sports, guide dog programs, local arts initiatives, and more.
Since the first edition, the fully volunteer-driven initiative has raised a cumulative total of more than $7.2 million for local causes, a remarkable testament to community spirit and collaboration.
“The real winner is the local community,” said Doug Anthony, Chair of Catch the Ace 7. “Our fan base is incredibly supportive and loyal and have made such an incredible difference for their communities.”
The Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace continues to demonstrate the power of grassroots fundraising and volunteerism, transforming weekly excitement into long-lasting community impact.
