Ils se prom\u00e8nent tous les jours\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le marchethon du 17 mai faisait partie du projet Walk-in-a-Box qui se d\u00e9roule tout au long du mois de mai dans plusieurs maisons de retraite et autres groupes de l&#8217;Est de l&#8217;Ontario, avec l&#8217;aide \u00e0 la coordination de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Alzheimer Society Cornwall &amp; District (SASCD). L&#8217;objectif du projet est de collecter des fonds pour des projets de recherche sur la maladie d&#8217;Alzheimer et des programmes de soutien aux personnes diagnostiqu\u00e9es ou aux familles des personnes atteintes de la maladie d&#8217;Alzheimer, ainsi que de sensibiliser le public \u00e0 cette maladie neurologique.<\/p>\n<p>Plus de 50 personnes, parmi lesquelles des r\u00e9sidents du manoir, des membres du personnel de soutien, des membres de la famille et des amis, ont fait une promenade dans le quartier \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion de l&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nement Casselman Walk-in-a-Box. L&#8217;objectif initial \u00e9tait de recueillir 5 000 $ pour la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Alzheimer, mais plus de 6 000 $ ont \u00e9t\u00e9 promis jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abNous avons vraiment d\u00e9pass\u00e9 notre objectif, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mme Cohen. Nous avons eu une journ\u00e9e ensoleill\u00e9e, sans pluie, et des gens de tous \u00e2ges ont particip\u00e9.
