The walks will take place inside the Sportsdome to avoid inclement weather and cold, and the mayor plans to schedule four walks a week for the foreseeable future, each lasting half an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Leroux said that the goal of this new program is community engagement. \u201cI have always been available for residents, this is simply a more structured program,\u201d he said. \u201cI schedule \u2018appointments\u2019 based on a first come first serve basis, and if something occurs on either side, we can always reschedule a walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Residents should email the mayor directly at <a href=\"mailto:PierreLeroux@Russell.ca\">PierreLeroux@Russell.ca<\/a> to schedule their walk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new community engagement program will allow residents to speak with the mayor on ideas or issues about the township.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":26667,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[44],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-26666","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politique"],"acf":[],"featured_media_global":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
