It demonstrates a collective commitment to children, youth and families throughout the region and encourages community members to help build an environment where every child can grow up safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 29, residents are encouraged to wear purple clothing or accessories, or a purple ribbon, and share their participation on social media using the hashtags #IDressPurpleBecause and #ValorisPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community members can also participate in the Great Purple Chain Challenge by sharing photos of their involvement via email at <a href=\"mailto:mauve-purple@valorispr.ca\">mauve-purple@valorispr.ca<\/a>.
