(Photo provided)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A record number of people participated in this year\u2019s Warden\u2019s Golf Benefit Tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) announced that 216 people attended the 2026 event, held on June 19 at the Rockland Golf Club. Presented by Regional Group and eQ Homes, the sold-out tournament featured unprecedented support from the participants and sponsors with over $100,000 of prizes up for grabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Warden\u2019s Golf Tournament is much more than a round of golf; it reflects our community\u2019s ongoing commitment to the well-being and the vitality of our region,\u201d said Mario Zanth, the UCPR Warden and Mayor of Clarence-Rockland. \u201cI sincerely thank all participants and sponsors for making today\u2019s event such a success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceeds raised from the annual golf tournament and the end-of-year Warden\u2019s Banquet go directly into the Warden\u2019s Fund that supports non-profits, healthcare foundations, food banks, and municipal services across the eight member municipalities of the UCPR.
