{"id":137785,"date":"2026-04-08T15:11:31","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T19:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/refletnews.ca\/?p=137785"},"modified":"2026-04-08T15:11:33","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T19:11:33","slug":"construction-to-begin-on-roundabout-at-st-guillaume-road-and-route-300","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/refletnews.ca\/en\/news\/construction-to-begin-on-roundabout-at-st-guillaume-road-and-route-300\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction to begin on roundabout at St-Guillaume Road and Route 300"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of County Road 28 (St-Guillaume Road) and Route 300 is set to begin Monday, March 23, as part of a project aimed at improving traffic flow and safety in the area.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is being carried out by the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) Public Works Department in partnership with the Township of Russell.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to municipal officials, the roundabout is intended to enhance road safety, improve traffic movement through the intersection, and support long-term community development as the region continues to grow.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During construction, residents, businesses, and motorists travelling through the area should expect some disruptions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Temporary lane closures and traffic delays are&nbsp;anticipated&nbsp;within the work zone, and reduced speed limits will be in effect to ensure the safety of workers and drivers.
