on the Paul-\u00c9mile L\u00e9vesque Bridge,&nbsp;located&nbsp;in the Municipality of Casselman.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, which is now underway,&nbsp;represents&nbsp;a significant investment aimed at improving both safety and accessibility for motorists and pedestrians travelling through the area.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the UCPR, the rehabilitation work includes several major improvements&nbsp;counting the complete reconstruction of the bridge deck, widening of the roadway to improve traffic flow and safety, construction of an expanded pedestrian sidewalk, installation of new steel guardrails,&nbsp;and&nbsp;addition of new street lighting.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>County officials say these upgrades will modernize the structure and better support long-term transportation needs in Casselman.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Bridge&nbsp;remains&nbsp;open with restrictions<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While construction is expected to continue through the end of 2026, the bridge will remain open to traffic for the duration of the project.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, residents and road users should expect some temporary restrictions, including&nbsp;reduced lane widths,&nbsp;modified&nbsp;pedestrian access, and temporary closures of the sidewalk during certain phases of work.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UCPR noted that project updates will be provided as work progresses and will be available online through the provincial traffic information platform.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The United Counties acknowledged that a construction project of this scale may affect&nbsp;local residents, businesses, and commuters.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials say efforts will be made to complete the work on schedule while minimizing disruptions throughout the community.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project
