The popular community event Meet Me on Main Street is set to return to Embrun for its fourth edition this summer, offering residents an evening of food, entertainment and family-friendly activities.  

The 2026 edition will take place on Thursday, July 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Yahoo Park, located at 8 Blais Street. The event is free to attend and no registration is required.  

The Municipality of Russell hope this year’s gathering will once again bring the community together with a variety of attractions for all ages. Attendees can look forward to food and beverage kiosks, booths hosted by local non-profit organizations, live music performances, face painting, youth-focused activities, and fire safety demonstrations. With plenty of outdoor space and activities planned, the event is designed to offer a relaxed and festive atmosphere for families, friends and neighbours.  

Meet Me on Main Street has grown steadily since its launch, becoming a well-loved opportunity for residents to connect, discover local organizations, and enjoy summer evenings in the heart of the community. The event also highlights the vibrancy of Embrun’s public spaces and the importance of creating accessible and inclusive activities for residents.
