Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace raffle raises over $2.5 million for local charities

The Kin Club of Russell’s seventh edition of Catch the Ace has reached an extraordinary milestone, surpassing the $2.5 million mark raised for local charities.

The 100 per cent volunteer-led initiative has now generated a cumulative total of over $6.5 million in charitable funds since its inception.

“The real winner is the local community,” stated Catch the Ace 7 Chair, Doug Anthony. “The Kin Club of Russell is honoured this round to present our twenty-six local charities with over $2.5 million to support their valuable work.”

With weekly prizes exceeding $70,000, a jackpot of more than $1.7 million, and only five envelopes remaining, excitement continues to grow for this record-breaking lottery. Now in its 48th week, it stands as the largest Catch the Ace raffle in Ontario.

Founded on October 1, 2011, the Kin Club of Russell is part of Kin Canada, a national, all-volunteer service organization dedicated to meeting community needs through fundraising events and local initiatives. Under the leadership of current president Dan Carbonnell, the club also hosts the annual Poutmasters Fishing Derby, organizes community galas, and supports local projects such as the Welcome to Russell community signs, the Russell Storage Centre Project, and the Community Gardens.

Tickets are available online on the Kin Club of Russell’s website and through more than 70 local retailers.
