Casselman honours veterans at Remembrance Day ceremony

The Municipality of Casselman gathered on November 11 to honour Canada’s veterans during a heartfelt Remembrance Day ceremony that brought together residents, officials, and community partners in reflection and gratitude. 

Mayor Geneviève Lajoie shared her appreciation on social media, writing, “Standing together as a community to honour the courage and sacrifice of our veterans reminds us that freedom is never free, it’s earned through their service and love for our country.” She also thanked Aurore Crann for organizing the event, Giovanna Mingarelli for attending, and Adèle Marie Kahota and her daughter from the PLDC for their participation.

In a separate post, the Municipality of Casselman added, “On this Remembrance Day, let’s remember the sacrifices of those who gave so much for our freedom. Let’s never forget their courage and dedication. We remember and honour their memory.”
