Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers arrested and charged a minor found in possession of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was stopped around 2:30 am on January 24 while it was travelling east on highway 417 near the Limoges exit. The driver didn’t stop for police, but the vehicle was spotted shortly after.

The 15-year-old from Etobicoke was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, property damage, fleeing from police, possession of an automobile master key, careless driving, and driving without a licence. The youth’s identity cannot be released under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), but the accused is scheduled to appear in court in L’Orignal at a later date.
