Residents and commuters can now enjoy full access to Notre-Dame Street, which officially reopened to traffic following the completion of Phase 1 of a multi-year reconstruction project in the Township of Russell. The reopening marks a significant milestone in the five-phase initiative, which began earlier this year and aims to modernize the roadway and surrounding infrastructure. Details on Phase 2, scheduled for next summer, will be shared once timelines and plans are finalized. The next phase is expected to continue improvements along the corridor, with the Township maintaining its commitment to clear communication as the project progresses. Residents can stay informed and follow updates on the project by visiting the Township’s dedicated webpage. (Photo : Municipality of Russell)
