The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Route 900 East near St-Albert on Saturday, September 20.
The crash temporarily closed the road in both directions between Route 800 East and County Road 27 in The Nation Municipality. The roadway has since reopened.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., members of the Russell County OPP Detachment responded to a serious collision involving a car and a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver, a 29-year-old man from The Nation Municipality, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Emergency crews, along with OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Reconstructionist, attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
